Another book I like is Barry Greenstein's book. It is so beautifully designed and illustrated one might think it is a coffee table book, but he has filled it with golden nuggets of poker wisdom so easy to digest that you don't even notice it until later. Strangely enough, the advice I find myself thinking the most about is the advice in Greenstein's book (along with Sklansky of course, and Rolf Slotboom for Omaha.)

I have 7 books i need to some of them doesn't have to do with poker, but i think it can benefit with playing and help sharpen up my mind. didnt barry greenstein stop giving his books at the wsop because it started to become to heavy for luggage.

An interesting book for (advanced) math freaks, is Bill Chen's book on the math of poker. That will give you a way of looking at poker you won't find anywhere else

(warning: by advanced, I mean grad school level math students

When i started online poker in 2026 i got all into the theory and math and completely bogged myself down with stats and other parts of the game. bankroll management is very important. you dont want to be a great player and die broke. After a few years of poker being a drag i decided to play what i profit in and keep stats that matter. Some of the things you study only give you a gnats ass of an redge over someone and online it doesnt matter much. play what youre good at dont lie to yourself. know yourself. know when to play when to let it be. thats helped me more than anything . keep it simple.
