I believe you will need to opt-in through the Carbon player admin in order to participate. The first entry coupon is on Carbon; any additional will need to be earned through the methods indicated on the promotion page: ag/promotions/html

    How Do I Participate?

All you have to do is opt-in here to take part in the Freeroll Fury. All existing Carbon Poker accounts will receive 1 free entry to any of the Freeroll Fury's tournaments. Furthermore, there are 3 different ways to gain extra entries to these once-a-day Freerolls.

    1. New depositing players will instantly get 5 freeroll entries when they use the Initial Deposit Bonus Code: CARBONPK.
    2. Existing players who reload their account using the February Bonus Code: FEBPK will also get 5 freeroll entries.
    3. Players can get 1 FREE entry daily by playing 25 Raked Cash Game Hands or 5 Sit & Go’s/Tournaments at any stakes.

I am playing the first freeroll fury game as I type this. I normally play 2-3 tournaments on Carbon a day (as of late) so I'll just be adding in a couple $1 double or nothing games each day to assure I get an entry for every game this month. Good luck to the members from this forum that play in some of these. If I don't make at least one final table in this month of freerolls, I will be disappointed. Maybe I'll start a thread where I track my progress in these freeroll fury games.

I was more excited about them before I found out that they were semi-deepstack turbos. [Not a complete surprise, but was hoping they might not be.] G'luck to everyone that makes the dive in.

I got in by playing in 42 raked hands of 2c/4c Omaha hilo. Freeroll Fury says I needed only 25 hands, but by the time the thing updated, I had already started a double or nothing $1 tourney because it said I had not started. Next thing I know it says I have 1 of 5 points for sitngos and 42 raked hands of 25 needed. I will be getting a ticket for February 2nd.

P.S. Played February 1stt game and placed about 185 for $1.10 of that $1000 given away. 256 players paid.

At least they didn't pull the bullshit of paying out 25-33% -- or more -- of the field and decimating the top money. Sounds like this really could be worth the effort to try to take one down.

EDIT: If today was the average field to be expected they could do a little better. Paying around 18-19% of the field; top spot gets 16-17% of the prize pool.

How do they count raked hands? Dealt, or contributed?

If it makes a difference to anyone, they've pushed these games back 1 hour -- to 20:00 EST -- and added 30 minutes [6 blinds levels] of late registation. . .
