Bet out 2/3 pot or so (maybe half pot since the flop check raise was small) and check/call most rivers. Give your opponent a chance to bluff, since queens and threes won't beat much anyway. On a brick turn like this, I'd go for a second check raise a small % of the time, but only against players whose range I can effectively narrow. Since we know little about our villain, I wouldn't suggest doing that here.

    HERO: raises to 200
    VILLAIN: calls 101

    *** TURN *** [5d]
    HERO: ?????

Effectively a blank as the board is now
3d,Js,Qs,5d, yes? But, The danger of draws becomes more ominous now. So, now what should be HERO's play?

Well... Things aren't a lot different here.. just more draws to dodge. I would have to go along with JDB here and say Hero must bet here and at least 2/3 pot or up to pot. Checking here to check/raise could be a mistake imho. Hero wants to discourage Villain from calling here and possibly hitting a draw and making Hero have to decide what to do on the river if a card pops that can fill a draw. Check/raising and growing the pot to the point Villain would have no choice but to call might be Hero's undoing.. if Villain is on a draw and hits.

Having said that.. on the turn Hero needs to raise the mentioned amount to make Villain's pot odds more unfavorable for a call. Raise to make Villain decide what to do with pot odds against him.. or at least as much as is possible. Not saying Villain won't call even if pot odds are stacked against him, but it's the only hope Hero can take this pot down now without risking being drawn out on. Raising will give you 2 chances here.. and Villain 1.

Just to play a bit of devil's advocate here.. Hero could just plain jam here and make Villain's pot odds to a draw more difficult. Either way.. Villain is the one that has to decide with just 1 chance to win and that would be to call and end up with the best hand. Hero would have 2 chances to win.. being of course ending up with the best hand.. or having Villain fold.

Flush draw is highly possible but flushes are not. q9 suited or better might be a better case. If this is an overly aggressive player chances are they will continue on the flop and even if you have q's you'll have to make a tough decision. They don't know how each other play much so it would be tough to get a good read one em. A good chance of loosing a lot of money in that hand chasing a flush as well.
Once on poker after dark someone held up a hand like that and said it was a flush drw and I said to the tv thats only two cards hows that a flush draw. I can't remember who it was but I still think that is just foolish thinking
