It's the freerolls that require 25 posts or playing in 2 buy ins per week. So, if your looking to get into our buy ins.. by all means do. Any member can see the password to our money added buy in games.. so jump in tomorrow night and have some fun!
Right on, I'm all for open buy-ins. Growth of the buy-in population will naturally lead to growth in forum membership.

You also see if you can get it posted on the site at juicy stakes. Just opening it up with out a password will help but getting the word out to all there members would help as well.

More buyin players means larger prize pools, of course, so that's a positive. I'd rather there be a play qualification of some sort to get into the freerolls, not just 25 posts. You get a lot of junk posts on the site when posts are the only qualifier - I think that is directly detrimental to the site. Buy-in players bring cash, they're taking real risk (however small), so they deserve more than the post qualifiers who are simply there to freeroll once their post requirement is met.

When I buyin to a tournament, I dont see it as a risk, I see it as an opportunity.

Well, I am a bit late in responding, but here it is. The payout is not worth the time spent to me. I would prefer that the buyins were higher, maybe $3. I know I will get heaped on for that, but you wanted to hear both sides (player vs not so often player) As for the weekend free rolls, I think they are great, but I always seem to have several other games going at that time. I used to be able to play 5 at a time, but as I get older, I find I have to confine myself to 3, and this one is the one I let go because the payout is not as high as the others.

I know I am in the minority as for wanting higher buy ins, but maybe there are a lot who feel like I do and that is why they are not around. I am not dissing this forum. I like it, I like the people, youse is good folks
