How to Win a 10-Player Double-Up SnG on the Revolution Network

In order to win a 10-player (or 6-player) Double-Up Sit & Go on the Revolution network (WinCake, Juicy Stakes etc), you just need to do one thing: stay in.
Here's a few tips to help get you in the top 50% on a regular basis.
1. There are usually two types of game - you either have a nut case - raising the max pre-flop every round - at your table or not*. If the former you must play tight whilst they are about, but don't be afraid to see some flops with your good hands. If the latter, most players will just be happy to see a flop cheaply, so you can make calls with less than superb hands whilst the blinds are low.
2. If the aggressive player is knocking the others out, let them do it. If others want to tangle with less than satisfactory hands, go ahead and let them. If you need to make a stand, then you have to do just that - but only if necessary, and only with something decent.
3. Don't raise pre-flop too often. In an MTT you would want to get value for your very good hands, but in this situation you would be better off by seeing the flop cheaply, then outplaying your opponent if you hit, and have more chips left to see more flops if you don't.
4. Keep an eye on who is is gambling and who is waiting for sensible hands. When the blinds get to 300/600 players will be forced to go all-in with many inferior hands, so be ready to call if you hold the goods, especially if the call leaves you with chips.
5. If you manage to double up at any point this is not guaranteed to get you in the money. Once the blinds go high anything can happen, and what were once short stacks are now closer, or larger in size than yours, and some will now be trying to grab the blinds. It's a fine line between calling or folding if it means you are all-in, but always err on the side of folding if losing the hand guarantees your exit.
6. Always fold any hand with any small amount of chips (if it prevents you from also being all-in) if on the next deal another player will be all-in and their exit will get you in the money, or much closer to it - and stall until the next blind increase if that helps accomplish that.
7. Bet for value sometimes, but generally be happy to pick up a few chips here and there with your average hands - not necessarily extract every penny you can, in other words.
8. Play cautiously and be more inclined to call down a player, especially on the flop, as opposed to pushing too hard yourself when your hand is good. Getting some chips is better than losing all of them. A2KK is excellent if you flop K45, but you still have ways to lose it all if you're not careful.
9. Position is important, especially when up against loose-aggressive players (as above). Use it to your advantage to see a flop or two if your hand warrants it and you cannot take the bullying any longer.
10. The saying 'a chip and a chair' was never so apt as when applied to this variation and format, so always bear that in mind - it's all you need to win a Revolution Double-Up Sit & Go.
*The nut case could be from anywhere, not necessarily Eastern Europe. But I've yet to see it.
