Cruising on SF Bay (America's Cup)

I got treated to a cruise on SF Bay today by my beloved Uncle. We went out near the Golden Gate (pretty heavy swells, knocked over the refrigerator and broke a bunch of beer bottles and got to watch the America's Cup race, between Team Oracle and New Zealand! I don't understand the race structure, but it looked like Team Oracle won

Those boats are amazingly fast, it is quite something to see them from the water, close up.

Someone said the New Zealand boat looked like it was capsizing, I didn't believe that at the time, but apparently from the news it was true, they almost did capsize! Wind was pretty strong out there I guess, near the limit of what they will allow before they cancel the race for safety reasons.

I'm not much for being on the water I'll stay on but sounds like you had an enjoy man day-out with Uncle as well as with no sea lol

Watched a bit of it on TV, sure would be something else to see it live : )
