Juicy Stakes is running a Wild West 500 GTD and 300 GTD buyin is .50 +.10 starting stack is 500 chips 45 min late reg and 5 mim unlimited rebuys @ .50 +.10 for an additional 500 chips 1 addon at end of late reg for 10K in chips @ .50 +small field so far been under 300 players.
I just saw those when I brought up the client. Gonna try the next one, but I am sure there will be more players in the evening. I will surely look them up in the morning.
I don't like rebuys and addons but I'm looking for a game tonight so I'll give it a try.

I suspect these WildWest games are not for me. the 50 cent buy in has a 10 cent vig. That wouldn't be so bad expect that all the rebuys have the 10 cents again going to the casino, as does the rebuy. I am not accustomed to having to pay the vig for rebuys and addons. That is 20% of the money you spend on the game. And then little stuff like I continually got disconnected and was unable to add on for some reason. those things will no doubt work out as these games go on, but the 20% fee is too much. I may try one more tomorrow morning when, hopefully, the cowboys are at work. But in general, do not approve.
Sort of reminds me of the TV show, Storage Wars, when the guy says "if you have enough money in your pocket, you may certainly own it." Well the guy who is willing to make 1000 rebuys can certainly own it.
20% is steep especially during a rebuy and addon period. They may be better off raising the initial buyin and doing away with the fee for the additional chips.
I have seen these too! I'm in one now, it has a $1,000 GTD weeeeeee!
Does anyone know how many days/ weeks/ months they will offer these games?
Part of me thinks the "vig" is to help bring the Network more liquidity (we have all by now heard all of the troubles the Revolution network is currently facing), and help get the cashout times increased, as well as the "value" of their funds increased! Lock/Juciy Stakes funds currently trade for $0.40 on the $1. SIGH! Hell, maybe the vig is so Revolution can start paying out back payments to skins they owe on their network.
I play to have fun so these fit the tried 5 of them mixed it up but the 500 GTD's is were I did make the money.. Missed one game not being at home to bubbled one and gave up on the other after having had AK beat by 46os and my Aces and Kings cracked I knew it would be hopeless to try and lol

I took a look at these, but haven't been able to make a game yet. Looks like the last one today didn't have an overlay at all after all the rebuys.... 1351 of them lol! Plus the add ons were over 100 players paying for them. Looks like they might have found a way to make some cash for GTD games. Paid 40 players with 206 entered and 40th to 31st paid $5.95. With only 500 chips to start with... the chances you won't need a rebuy to keep playing are kinda slim it seems.. couple that with the 5 minute blinds and you have a recipe for the donkfest of the ages! LOL! I am guessing that most that want to rebuy will just keep doing so .. so they can get to the 10k add on period. I'm sure the quality of play is non existent for sure. If your just looking for a game and don't mind forking over several dollars for a chance at the cash.. I guess it could work out... 40 paid brings your odds of cashing up a bit with just 206 registered. 500 starting chips just isn't my style though.. nor is the 20% of the entry fee and rebuy fees going to the rooms. They collected $166 at least for that last game today. Not bad for them. Total prize pool was $1028.50. Average cost of rebuys per player was about $3.95. Looks like over half did the add on. Sort of shoots the +EV in the azz lol!
They must have come up with raising the add on to $2.50 to be sure they cover the GTD. Sure looks like it put them over the top .. at least for that game.
Good luck with these games if you give them a try. Think I'll only try one if I am home and not doing anything at all. Right now.. looks like cleaning out the gutters would take priority lol!
Just observed something in this evenings game. You can actually rebuy up to 50,000 chips if you want lol! Only cost $50 + $10!! WHAT A DEAL!! LMAO!
