Continuation bets
How often should you c-bet after you raise preflop and what boards should you stay away from when c-betting? Should you take your stack size into consideration when deciding whether or not to c-bet?

Re: Continuation bets
i tend to fire a c bet unless the board shows me i am dominated by trips or flushes
still tend to fire one last bullet though

Re: Continuation bets
I think there are varying factors that will help me decide to do a c-bet after a pre-flop raise. Surely my stack size is a factor. If I have the stack I'm likely to fire it out there, but not into a scarey flop like 3 spades or 3 to a str8. Position is always a factor as well. If I am on the button and it's checked to me... I'm highly likely to do a c-bet no matter what I have.. as long as the flop is pretty generic. When out of position and I was the raiser pre.. I will still likely fire one out there... but will be more likely to do so if I still think my hand is strong. I think that if your going to fire a c-bet out there.. it is better to be ready to do it and fire it out there very quickly when it's your turn to bet... depending on who my opponents are that is. Mixing it up a bit tends to keep em guessing too... so don't make your c-bets too awfully predictable. Sometimes showing weakness can be your undoing, but sometimes showing weakness when your strong can payoff better.. know your opponents.

EVERYTHING needs to be taken into consideration before making any position, your chip stack, opponent chip stack, potential for your hand, opponents tightness/looseness, the perception of your tightness/looseness at the table, and then i guess your gut feeling. if youve got a good amount of chips i always like to throw a continuation bet out there.
