You have Ks 10c in the blinds and the flop reveals 4s 10s Qc with 2 other players in an unraised pot.
When you hit middle pair on the flop, do you bet out or check?

very tough to play those hands when you hit second pair i usually play them soft unless i have a maniac in the hand its less likely he hit and will take him for a bundle of chips otherwise i might check raise then shut it down and try in check down the rest of the way basically this is a feel type of hand but one thing to help in a lot of situations is putting players on a range of hands and go from there
I can play this a few ways.
(1) Lead out with a 1/2 to 2/3 pot bet representing the Q hoping the other players missed the flop and will surrender the pot. Depending on the players this can be an effective way to chip up.
(2) Check to the other players to see what they do and then react depending on their actions. If they seem weak, you can check-raise and perhaps drive them off their hand, if they weren't just trying (1) on you. If they 3-bet you'll probably have to fold.
(3) Make a small lead out bet to try to play pot control, and to probe for information. You can try to improve on the turn or river.

bet out, if you get callers the could be drawing or have a week Q.
it is definitely a drawing board with 2 spades and potential straight cards. i would probably throw a small (1/2 pot) bet out there and feel out where everyone else was at.
