He probably had enough outs to call, with flush draw and inside straight draw, and implied odds.

cost half a blind to see the flop 12 outs to a nut hand and nearly 1.7 to 1 chip lead could be me if I was feelin it.

Some people just want to be dwan for 1 hand in their life. I hate admitting this, but I always did like the hand 7,2 suited or 7,3 wayyyy before i knew who Durrrr was . but it really does knock some air out of you when you see it happening right in front of your face.
