Rogue, not knowing how aggressive these players were, but with that kind of all ins, you probably knew either they had pairs, or high cards, coming in that way. So I don't feel that was a bad fold, even though it looks that way after the facts were known. Still a good fold, with 2 in front and one hanging at your back door, to roll.

fold and take a chance to get the pay jump. if 1 jump makes a big difference, for sure fold and let them go all in. also your on small blind, which allows guy to your left(bb) whos also short get put all in no matter what hand he has. so thats a possibility of 2 pay jumps, about a whole chance to see a whole orbit again, and blinds are big, so going all in short stack your going to win antes and whatever you can cover for blinds if you do win the hand you shove with.

the other day, i played a mtt, came in short stack and knocked out every single person on the table. you can either go with the playbook which everyone tells you to do, or you can play with your gut instinct and follow through. having about 1 bigblind can make big difference, your already winning, so if folding is an option, take it.

I like 'folding into the money' as a strategy, so I'd have folded that hand as it would likely result in a bit more cash. A winning hand in the next couple of rounds or so will give you around 100,000 chips, which isn't too bad - a double up after that will leave you sitting pretty, or you might just hang on in there for a higher place if everyone is throwing their chips in. In these situations I often end up finishing in second place - occasionally first - watching quietly while all around get knocked out one by one.
