I'm sure there is a reason it has not been but in case it just been overlooked I'm requesting pleading begging and anything else that might help in getting the chat box back in forum...
Not that I was a big user but somehow it made the place seem alive. Over the last few weeks it's been a cemetery in here.. granted that maybe the holiday spirit but being dead ain't going to breath life into this place...
Having a chat does not bring life to a forum as it does not create new posts or interaction for the forum, only to those that use it with their own private world. You will see many forums having debates about chat and many forums do without them to increase actual posts. If a member can spend an hour in chat, cant they spend the hour posting? What happens if the chat is brought back and nobody uses it? Members turn up and see the last chat was 12 hours ago and believe that the place is a cemetery. Maybe a post to chat policy should be brought in to get both the forum and chat back.

I have turned the chat box on, we will see if this makes any difference in regards to activity.
Looks as if Steve is right at home again. It's his man cave.
12 hours later, no posts and no chat.
If members want the chat box, they will need to earn it by being active on the forum.
Good Lord I don't thing anyone even knew the chat box was back up and open...I'm told now that only Mods can post chat which doesn't make sense as Mod have there own board for posted..
You say earn it does that mean the buy in player like trek and sick don't earn the right to have the well then piff on that
