I want to bring up a few things which are open for discussion and I do hope that members/mods will throw in their two cents and offer their opinions and be honest about what they reply with. I need to know where I stand with the members, the forum and what the future direction could or should be. Without input from those that matter, being YOU, I or the mods can not try to fix or address the problems.

The mods and I want to know how we can improve your time here, what you would like, how we can improve buyin and freeroll participation numbers and what is needed for members to be posting on this forum especially poker related topics. Are the games not enough financially, wrong times, wrong days, wrong variations, or something else?

Is there not enough content on the forum to get you involved, do you feel you will not get enough feedback on a hand, do you feel we do not have enough experienced players to help you, is the forum **** compared to others you post on, what gets you posting on another forum but not here, not enough ring or variation posts? add your say.

Below I have added some examples of where we are at and to be honest I am very close to losing funding for future games for the forum. Without players in seats, I cant get the games and WE ALL miss out on opportunities to take advantage of the generosity. Without activity within the forum, I feel like I am wasting my time, including the moderators and the members that truly try with little result shown.

I have three moderators (SycoSteve, samsmoot and datsme53) willing to help members out anywhere they can. They all have knowledge, all care and dont ask for anything in return except to be able to help members. A core group of members are also in this boat and it is a shame to see the efforts of these guys and gals going to waste.

Personally I can go back to spending more time on the main site and using the funding for player promotions, for members it would mean another forum vanishes from their weekend game line up. Without activity on the forum, the less chance of players coming here to join to be part of the community and this defeats the purpose of having a forum. I could just run tracked player games directly through the main site without having to maintain anything, no deleting spammers and no need to ask for additional funds for games which may show no return to the room.

Over the last month or so the forum has had many forum games funded by Cake, Intertops and Carbon to rewards members for being part of the DMS community. We have run games including freerolls for reward club members, open to all members and several buyins with money added including a league at Cake Poker with $150 added. We decided to drop the rewards club games due the lack of numbers showing BUT in saying that we roughly had 30 members who could access the password when released. Here are a few of the participation rates and why they were dropped -

Carbon Poker $20 freeroll Rewards Club - 12 players
Carbon Poker $10 freeroll Rewards Club - 13 players
Cake Poker $25 freeroll Rewards Club - 18 players
Cake Poker $25 freeroll Rewards Club - 13 players

Cake offered $200 for a league buyin open to all members where a player needed 3 out of 4 games to get into the freeroll. Initially the bonus freeroll was $100, this was cut to $50 by them for lack of numbers. The total offered for playing 3 buyins ($6.60) was $150, the result -

Cake Poker League - 14 players qualified 3 out of 4 games ($150 added)

Intertops threw in some buyins open to all members, results -

Intertops buyin with $25 added - 10 players
Intertops buyin with $25 added - 12 players

And our latest run of results -

Cake Poker $25 freeroll (open to all) - 20 players
Tracked player $50 freeroll (Cake, Colt and HiLife Poker) - 20 players
Variations league (Carbon, Aced and PDC Poker) NLH - 5 players (They have pulled the $50 funding)
