Cake Poker is giving players the chance to win a seat in the newly created English Open Poker tournament.  The English Open’s inaugural tourney is this year and it is expected to draw a wide variety of players and is guaranteeing a prize pool of $1M.  Cake Poker is offering players the chance to win $7,000 prize packages to the event which include the $5300 tourney buy-in and $1700 in travel expenses and spending money.

Every Sunday until Feb 30th Cake Poker will be running a $268 satellite tournament at 4pm.  There will be one prize package awarded for every $7000 in the pot.  There are also many satellite tournaments into these qualifiers including the $55 Sunday super-satellites that take place at 1pm and the daily $11 tournaments.  Cake Poker has also set up a steps ladder into the $268 qualifers to allow players to qualify through sit and go tournaments.  There are three steps with the first step being $4.50, the second step $17 and the third step $65.  You can even satellite into the English Open qualifers for only 6 gold chips.  The gold chip satellites are held at 3:15pm three days a week and the top four finishers earn a $268 qualifer seat.  As you can see there are plenty of ways to win your way into the newest and biggest live poker tourney in Europe.
