To celebrate its 6-year anniversary, poker hot spot Titan Poker will be running an interesting anniversary promotion that might interest some online players. The comprehensive campaign and special event will include various separate promotions all of which will appeal to different kinds of players. We’ll explore and discuss the particular details of this promo below.

Heads Up Championship— one of the cool things being offered as a part of the celebration is the chance to win a share of $25,000 in prize money. To qualify for the championship, you’ll have to win one of the eight arranged 25 Hour Races put on by Titan Poker during the month of September. The winners will be organized into divisions and left to play Heads Up for some enticing cash prizes.

Mystery Giveaway – this one is decidedly more simplistic. Instead of qualifying, placing, and fighting your way to victory, with a mystery giveaway…you simply receive. All month long, as a part of their anniversary promo, Titan will be gifting mystery prizes to lucky members at the start of every week.

Sam & Marvin’s Playground – this sub promotion allows members to face off against some professional poker players, Titan Poker’s resident pros Sam and Marvin. To qualify for these tables, you’ve got to visit the page early and type in the given password quickly, as seating is allocated on a “first come, first serve” basis. The dates of availability are listed on the web site as follows:

Sunday September 18th Marvin Rettenmaier

Sunday September 25th Sam Trickett

Both from 20:00 – 23:00 GMT+1

As an additional part of the package, the pair will be playing at the weekly $200,000 Guaranteed tournament with a $200 bounty on their heads. That means that if you push them out, you win an automatic extra $200.

$6,000 Free Roll – to honor 6 years in business, Titan Poker is eager to award some lucky members a free (or so they claim) $6,000 prize as a result of their Free Roll. The winner will be drawn from those who have earned a token in the sweepstakes. To qualify, you must accumulate 60 points or more within the month of September. The actual $6,000 Anniversary Freeroll will commence on Thursday, October 6th at 20:00 GMT+1.

Titan Poker is playing a heavy hand in upping up their PR with this comprehensive promotion. To benefit from it, you must first opt-in at www.TitanPoker.com. By opting-in, you render yourself eligible for a variety of different promos that may very well prove lucrative this month.

Titan Poker is on the same iPoker network, as another great UK poker targeted room, BetFred. It’s smart for players to jump from one iPoker room to the next, earning each of the bonuses available, while still playing the same games. The BetFred poker bonus is worth up to $2,000 so it’s very advantageous for players.

If you haven’t heard, Tom Dwan, aka Durrrr, put out a challenge to any player in the world to play him in high limit heads up no limit hold’em or pot limit omaha at 4 tables simultaneously for 50,000 hands. What makes the challenge really interesting is that if Dwan wins his challenger must pay him $500K, but if Dwan loses he pays the challenger $1.5 Million! The 3 to 1 ratio shows just how confident Dwan is that he will come out on top, but it is also a very good value challenge for many top poker professionals.

Patrick Antonius was the first player to accept Tom’s offer to play in this heads up Challenge with Phil Ivey and David Benyamine close behind.

Full Tilt Poker has already created “durrrr challenge” tables in the $200/$400 PL Omaha section of their software in preparation for the challenge. Antonius had the choice and decided to play PL Omaha. The challenge will start in a week or two and we will keep you posted on the outcomes. Whatever happens you can be sure that this event will be followed with the utmost attention and will be very good for online poker as a whole. It’s anyones game as these are two of the best poker players in the world. One thing that we can be sure of is there will be many big pots with lots of money exchanging hands and some huge bragging rights on the line. One player will end the challenge with a big increase in their poker bankroll, while the others may be completely crippled.

Catch all the action at the Full Tilt tables by signing up for Full Tilt Poker Rakeback now.
